A lot of hobbyists probably already know about it, but this September Jennifer Buxton (Braymere Custom Saddlery) and Jennifer Scott (Aspen Leaf Studio) are hosting a model horse show extravaganza. I can't attend in person, so I jumped at the chance to support this show long distance by donating some of my work. I packed the completed donation up today, along with a bunch of other goodies, and shipped it off.
I follow several model horse tack making pages on Facebook, and in one of them someone asked "What tools are needed for model horse tack?" Being the helpful person I am, I went and checked out my desk to see what was lying around and hadn't been put away between projects.
I just finished up this general purpose English set for Beth. It was sort of a hybrid commission/sales piece - I completed the saddle first, and then thought, "Hey, I wonder if it would be helpful for buyers to be able to pick which model the bridle fits?"
