Spring Cleaning
I don’t know what’s in the air - maybe it’s just the Northern Hemisphere’s spring, maybe we’re feeling more hopeful as the Covid-19 vaccines become more available and it feels like maybe, just maybe, there’s a light at the end of the tunnel. Whatever it is, I’ve seen several of my fellow artists post State of the Studio updates recently and it’s reminded me that it’s time for me to do one, too.
I had high hopes for 2021 and enough confidence to make a blog post about it, but now that we’re actually /here/ I’ve realized that I need to take things a little more slowly. Unfortunately, it’s best to set those original plans aside. Not all is lost, though!
Commissions
My books are closed and will be until at least July. I am still working through the small handful of Mini Anise commissions I took for January and once those are done, my books will remain closed while I focus on other projects.
The good news is that I have decided to add Venti, Paddock Pals, Collecta, and Pebbles scale tack to the line up as regular item! The waiting list for larger scale commissions is no longer necessary. Venti/Collecta/etc commissions will start at $250 and more details can be found under “Commissions.”
Breyerfest Sale
You won’t find me in the virtual Artisans’ Gallery this year, but I’ll be hosting my own Breyerfest sale! I have great plans for this - a handful of complete sets, bridles and halters, saddle pads and other goodies. I’ll be revealing pieces as they’re completed on the studio social media pages (Instagram & Facebook) so make sure you’re following! I am hopeful that I will be able to offer a commission lottery during Breyerfest, but we’ll have to wait and see how things are going.
What Now?
I’ll be working on Breyerfest sales pieces, the final Mini Anise commissions, and some long overdue gardening and home improvement projects! If you want to be notified of upcoming commissions or sales pieces (including the Breyerfest sale!) make sure you’re signed up for the studio newsletter or following me on social media!
