NMTM: Winners, Round 1
April is winding down, and completed projects are trickling in!

Steffi makes some amazing english tack, but in her entry said that she hadn't done as much western work, especially not a heavily silvered and carved saddle. I think she knocked it out of the park. Congrats, Steffi!

Kayla created two halters as her NMTM challenge. The silver show halter was her first leather halter - can you believe it? Kayla, congrats - you're a winner!

Bethany's project was one of the highlights of NMTM. She described herself as an "absolute beginner," and this is her first western saddle, and first saddle of any kind. She faithfully documented her progress with her Rio Rondo kit in the Facebook group, and I'm sure that many who were following along had their own questions answered! You may not be able to see it very well, but she even carved her saddle with an owl theme! Congrats, Bethany - you are most definitely a winner.

Sara decided to try a horned Australian Stock Saddle for her project, based on Carrie Olgun's instructional guide. She did a great job and documented her progress from prototyping to finished project in the Facebook group. Thanks for sharing your expertise and experience, Sara! You're a winner.
